Food for thought

When sea lions get sick from eating plastic, we are reminded of the need to reduce our use of this material. Even when plastic components break down it still gets consumed by the sea life that the sea lions eat.

By taking small steps to reduce the amount of plastic we throw away every day you are joining Do One More Thing, a nation-wide movement where individuals are changing our future! Have any of you already taken some action? If so what have you done? Here are some suggestions:
  • Bring your own bag to shop with
  • bring a reusable bottle/mug,
  • don’t use straws,
  • buy in bulk,
  • even using bar soaps will eliminate the need for plastic bottles.
